There is no book. I lied.A Poem by Lee W. Deason
Mister won't you move so I can see.
The hanging of my old broken smile. I used it for the last time yesterday. It was pretty, and elegant like you'd expect. No don't close me up, I'm not done breathing here. No don't, just hush up, We're not done layin' here. We all know, you're coming home. To say hush baby we're alone. Let's leave the wait out of this. Cause it's the first chance I get to let you know. I am digging deep inside to have you show... me how it feels. But you return, like you always do... With looks that would cure the ill. Like your eyes fire up the mainline, like nothing ever still. No we won't be closing up, there's too much to say. Yeah lets just try it, We're not done playin' here. A gift I'll give. Long slow, in the lights gentle glow. No don't, just hush up, We're not done layin' here. We'll lay low. Relaxed head to toe. In the gentle lights glow. I'll smile, because it's fit to me. The smile she built, for me. The smile she gives, to me. The music hits, and the feelings set in. Our beauty is all we are wearing. I'm still lost in the moment as I kissed her. No we won't be closing up, there's too much to say. A gift I'll give. Long slow, in the lights gentle glow. I'll make her know, that she is mine, from head to toe. © 2008 Lee W. DeasonFeatured Review
