The time attrition is our worst enemy.

The time attrition is our worst enemy.

A Poem by Lee W. Deason

Make that move, your already so close.
To being in the arms of what makes you happy.
I'm sick of watching you flinch from a distance.

You have the right idea with pursuing....
What you want. You will see them again anyways.
As we will be intertwined all day.

My eyes cry because they are addicts.
Addicted to your eyes.

Our magic is what makes me smile.
Every time I check my pocket watch dial.
I see the time for you. I wish it was us.

Your body to hold at night...
That would be a perfect cure. It's what I need.
The time attrition is my worst enemy. Our worst enemy.

My eyes cry because they are addicts.
Addicted to your eyes.
I sing in hopes you are hearing me.
My sweet lullaby.

What a wonderful piece. Loved the softness of your longing, the longing of being together, being in peace with what you treasure most. You used some lovely expressions in this piece, making it very clear to your readers that you truly do adore that person whom you seem to admire from afar.
I really liked the lines;

"My eyes cry because they are addicts.
Addicted to your eyes."

Such a wonderful sentiment, which brings the emotions across brilliantly
