Street lights poisoned your mind.

Street lights poisoned your mind.

A Poem by Lee W. Deason

I can't talk to you. You make me puke out my ears.
Filling my mind with nonsense and noise of negativity.
Trigger the constant assembly of complicated messages.
From such simple signals.

But o no, you can't see straight.
Something is standing in your way.

To many voices of paranoia, asking you questions.
But the answers never make sense.

Is the hissing still blinking at you? That red light.
You swear you saw, and now you are afraid a call.
Because illusion had its way with you in the night.
Forming simple signals.

That trick you, into believing your alone.
That teach you, how to breath in your mind.

Three times more poison will rub my mind.
Inserting memories back, richly revealing the truth.

But o no, I am unafraid of whats to come.
It's just not, real to me. Why not you too?
Even the face in the corner of my room tells me so.

When you look back you'll see yourself melting.
From the over flow of learning that needs to be done.
