A mirror would look better.

A mirror would look better.

A Poem by Lee W. Deason

We both know that you are lured into this race.
We both know your attracted by the disgrace of others, disregarding forgiveness.

I've seen you lie to yourself. You've tasted your defeat.
Maybe it never had to be so, but you pushed it and you know, that you have made a mistake.

Here lies cheap lines and meaningful actions that good intentions were once wasted for.
Visions and dreams now bleed their own out. You've gotta get out while you can.

I know that you feel so bad now, you don't believe me.
I heard how loud that you pout, so please believe me now.

I will fail to convince you. It takes more than one.
This time you have won. Tomorrow will be true though.
