Bad thoughts before sleep.

Bad thoughts before sleep.

A Poem by Lee W. Deason

Tonight, I have nothing left to look at right.
Step up to the steps leading down to content, and blow kisses.
Slip into a scene ascetically pleasing, commence making wishes.

My stage is blown. Busted up from a dropped tear.
You said its not what is... really worth it.
Thinking the pure is only half as valuable.

Sudden shiver, to turn with the door frame.
Hung up to deliver, to arrive on time.
Sorry to be told again, your not our kind.
To be disappointing in life.

Tonight, I have nothing left to look at right.
Step up to the steps leading down to content, and blow kisses.
Slip into a scene ascetically pleasing, commence making wishes.

Cement spits on my face. The feeling of losing.
Write it in black so we can look back.
Secret lives bleeding image, through the crack.

Opened eyes, am I to be paralyzed.
By some, standards that aren't even real.
The sun kiss will chastise .

Hello hello reminders, your excessive. Unimpressive.
I'll be the note between your dividers.

The....
Sudden shiver, to turn with the door frame.
Hung up to deliver, to arrive on time.
Sorry to be told again, your not our kind.
To be disappointing.
