Me, my diary and my conscience

Me, my diary and my conscience

A Poem by Dwayne Weweh

Lest love found our hearts

In a Sea of necker

Neither Pain nor Stories

Wish we are born equal

Free of our divid

Indifferent

But aspire

Lest there were no clouds

Every sky was blue

No night and day

Save for galaxies

A clusters of stars

A blissful kiss

From a rainbow

Lest there were no boarders

Timbuktu to Paria,

Ria to Gulf of Eden

We sail and trot

No politics, greed or hate

Lest man had no worries

Just a need for a sunny day

Lest there are no wars

No guns but, Roses

No Pariah but,

A bunch of Insects

Pitching their cocoon

with a common larvae

Beneath their Veil

Lest there were no rules

Our conscience our judges

Love will know no hate

Wish we paid our dues

To mankind

Traded our kings and kingdoms

For brotherhood

Lest I was a naysayer.

Patch my fingers on my brail

Scold the squalors in my hearts

Tattoo our diary on my hips

Embrace the color purple

Walk the twilight

Lest I was ........
