Tatjana

Tatjana

A Poem by Dwayne Weweh

In her prime she was

Her smile

Fragile and debonair
The nude blue eyes

Redolent of sunset

Tatjana was nostalgic

Her demeanor elegant

Genres from her heartbeat

Are like raindrops

A fine April day with

Half radiant moon

Trending form above

My pristine rendezvous

With Tatjana

Was nothing but devout

The flame in her eyes

Were colorful pebbles

Yet soulful

The long silky hair

Prudence and symbol

Of her pride and innocence

Alas stars beneath the sky

light their way through

Tatjana fades like a plague

Leaving shadows of teardrops

Yet her promise lingers

My conscience …….
