My advice

Fight, my friend
Fight for what you know and love
Be a fighter and a lover
Don't be rash in decisions
But be able to make hasted ones
Be trusting and willing to take orders
But also be weary and cautious
For there are those who wish to deceive you
Don't let a blanket to be pulled over your eyes
Beware those who don't allow questions
But sometimes the innocent shy away from questions too
Those on your side who fear for their life and don't know who to trust these days
Watch you friends carefully for they can be your fiend in guise
But never doubt your friends for then they won't trust you
Betrayal is hard but be ready to move on
Give people chances everyone deserves a second
But be cautious on those for some aren't changed
Never judge a man and his deeds
But be cautions of them who you deem in the wrong
Do not hate your enemies
Feel bad for what they have done to themselves
But do not pity them for they have chosen their ultimate fate
Use your common sense
Never discard your logic
But sometime the truth makes no sense
And suicidal attempts is what it takes to save your life
Sometimes the dark feigns the good
Or good causes power the bad
Sometimes peoples persuasion is stronger than you thought
And you find yourself on the other side in you horror
So know what you see as good strong in you mind
And have the will throughout you whole being to do what light you see
And when you find that you were in the wrong
And find things that you detest in what you thought right
Then if your mindset change to what you realize good
Do not listen to those who do evil
But hear what they have to say to know for yourself if they do so
Plan well
But rarely do things go along as planned
Know what you want for your future
And fight to make it so
But settle for what you get
For sometimes the better future is the one you do not envision
Speak plainly
For those who want to conceal are those who speak in a way that's hard to understand
People have more trust for those who's purpose are known
And who speak in a manner to keep nothing hidden
And if you speak truth it is clearly shown
For it is those who ramble on and often repeat themselves that lie
You can tell when truth is spoken for it is clear and is common sense
Don't let anyone take your rights away
Remember that no one gives them to you either
For they are a gift given from the King of the world
Fight for your freedom and your land for that is a true cause
I hope you heed my words
Or at least take them in consideration
You may see truth in words
And if not just know I do not mean to deceive you
Have faith my friends and

This is pretty good for free verse. I sometimes write free verse, but I like my work to have a rhyme scheme. I might post a free verse poem I wrote soon when I find it. I have so much stuff just lying around.
