Life

About life when it's terrible, and all the moments that are great.

Life is a test,
Full of misery and toils.
Life is a joy,
Full of beauty and riddles.

I cry and weep,
Fears and tears follow, haunt me.
I cry and laugh,
Smiling faces surround me.


I feel so scared,
I'm trapped, sad, suffocating.
I have no fear,
I'm free, rising, no drowning.

There's little hope,
I cling to scraps desperately.
I'm full of hope,
Safe, calm in a sturdy tree.

Life has big downs,
I wonder how I'll survive.
Life has great ups,
It doesn't take much to strive.

I realize life,
Though with drastic ups and downs,
It's a smooth line
Goods in bad, it comes in rounds.

Life is a test,
That in I sometimes struggle.
Life is a joy,
Warm to touch and snuggle.

I cry and weep,
But the pain makes me stronger.
I cry and laugh,
With renewed joy, and longer.

I feel so scared,
But with help I make it through.
I have no fears,
With help my worries are few.

There's little hope
That it'll go smooth forever.
I'm full of hope
Moments will come to savor.

Life has big downs,
But with little ups in them.
Life has great ups,
With enough time not to skim.

I realize life,
Is sad and happy the same.
It's a smooth line,
Sometimes that feels sad and lame.

The thing I like about this a lot is that you don't describe life as being all marshmallows and daisies, but you don't describe it as being just a walk through hell either, it has its good points and bad points like a double edged sword.
