There is a God in the heavens
Who watches over me.
There is a God in the heavens
Who I just cannot see.

There's a Redeemer of the world
Who gave his life for me.

Who bled to make man free.

There's a Comforter in men's hearts
Who whispers peace to me.
There's a Comforter in men's hearts
Who swells up like a tree.

There is I, a faithful servant
Who tries to make it known.

Who believes what God's shown.

The last stanza is for all those who have worked and are working tirelessly to further God's work. :) Hope you like it.

Although I'm not religious, I see and appreciate the strength of your faith that this work shows. There is an element of uncertainty in the first verse, which leads to the rest of the poem in a rush of newfound confidence and the entire piece ends with the feeling of triumph.

The simple, repeating rhyme scheme seems almost out of place, yet really brings this all together and lets it stick with one in ways that a more complicated choice wouldn't.

I love this poem. It has a nice flow and it is a wonderful commentary on things spoke of and revealed in the Bible. I appreciate you expressing your devotion to God and your belief in God through your writing. I love the transition into explaining how the Holy Spirit makes you feel. That He makes you feel at peace. The Trinity was well displayed in your first three stanzas. Do you go to church? Do you have a particular denomination? But awesome work. God bless you my friend!
