Shall We Pray

Shall We Pray

A Poem by norman hale

Shall we pray for our loved ones
That have gone on before
May we meet them someday
Upon your distant shore

Shall we pray for those soldiers
Who are called off to war
As we pray for the fallen
And those that have passed before

Shall we pray for our enemies
That gave us troubles in the past
May you fill their hearts with love
The kind to always last

Shall we pray for the sick
Who suffer for so long
Some are little children
That never done any wrong

Shall we pray for each other
As family and as friends
May Your healing hands touch us
And the healing never ends

Shall we pray for the sinners
That know not your name
Forgive them dear Lord
For they are not to blame

Shall we pray to You dear Father
In the times we must weep
For You are our Shepherd
And we are Your sheep

     WE PRAY, AMEN
