Deep In The Ocean

Deep In The Ocean

A Poem by norman hale

Deep In The Ocean

Deep in the ocean

Down under the reefs

Lives the baby dolphins

Behind the cliffs

They swim all around

Hiding from the sea turtles

And the sharks too

As if each day was a hurdle

They swim and play

As free as can be

Under the ocean so blue

Hiding from you and me

They play hide-and-go-seek

As well as playing tag

But should danger come

It'll be time for them to shag

All around the rocks

They feed on the smaller fish

They even eat on crawfish

On their tasty dish

So watch around the ocean

All around the corral reefs

There are many baby dolphins

Many more than our beliefs
