A Walk Through Nature

A Walk Through Nature

A Poem by norman hale

A Walk Through Nature

I walk the path of ancient ones
Nature is my teacher and church
Showing me day by day
What each day is worth

The path is long and winding
But, you should see it through my eyes
Nature is always so beautiful
It has all kinds of surprises

Nature is our one teacher
And from that we must learn
For if we choose the wrong path
Then in Eternity we shall burn

Should we ignore our nature
Then soon we'll have none
And a walk through the forest
Will no longer be any fun

So take care of nature
Stop ruining our forsaken land
For, it was created for all creatures
Not, just for the greed of man

Help take care of our nature
And it will help take care of you
But, should it get wiped out
You can't say, I didn't tell you
