Glistening Snow

Glistening Snow

A Poem by norman hale

Every where there is glistening snow
Under the light of the moon
Sparkling from each spark of light
No matter which way you turn

On this glistening snow tonight
Creature are moving about
Looking for something to eat
Hungry ther's no doubt

On this glistening snow tonight
There are kids playing on sleds
Sliding down each little hill
Hoping not to bust their heads

On this glistening snow tonight
There are lovers holding hands
Walking through the snow drifts
Watching it blow like desert sands

On this glistening snow tonight

Love is surrounding us all
And when we least expect it
Love is sure to come and call

Yes, on this glistening snow tonight
The stars are now showing through
Sparkling on the snow so bright
Just a show for me and you
