Lovers Nightly Dance

Lovers Nightly Dance

A Poem by norman hale

Lovers Nightly Dance

In the still of the night
Two lovers are holding hands
As they dance, It's such a sight...
The stars play as their band

Under the light of the moon
They are swaying to-and-fro
To the sounds of nightly tunes
Into love is where they'll go

They swing to the left
Then back to the right
As if their love was kept
Just to come here tonight

They swing and they sway
To this night time show
As their hearts melt away
Like music from a fiddlers bow

Their hearts beats as one
As this dance moves along
They know love has won
Each step, they take to the song

Yes, in the still of the night
Love will surely conquer all
No matter how strong the fight
Love will win, when time comes to call

So grab you up a mate
And sway to the nightly tune
Make sure your not too late
We'll try to see you there soon
