The Spirits Are Active

The Spirits Are Active

A Poem by norman hale

The spirits are active
Out on this wintery sceen
It must have something to do
This being friday the thirteenth

You can see the spirits move
As the snowflakes fall and gleam
should you blink, you'll miss them
As if they were just a dream

The spirits moan with the wind
As if in a moarnfull cry
The clouds move above like Angels
Pouring down their snowy cries

You might hear hammering
Though no one is there
But that sound from long ago
Remains here in the air

Though many years have passed
The spirits have not forgot
They will remain until Judgement day
For this war they have fought

The spirits are active tonight
With snow flying in the air
Moving freely around
Like Christmas Angels in the air
