Where are you?

a daughter who waits for her loved one

WHERE ARE YOU

 

 

I've waited for many years

I've waited for ages

And I'm still waiting

 

The children at school would laugh

You have no one

You have no one but mama

 

My birthday came and I waited for your return

No cake was served no music was played

I waited

 

One day I saw mama open the door

A man dressed in a uniform

A man with such serenity

A man holding a letter

A man handing a flag

With his gloved hands

Mama cried

Yet I still waited

 

Sitting outside my window looking up the moon

"Where are you?" I said

Where are you, papa?

Where have you gone?

I'm still waiting

And waiting I'll stay

It's a heartfelt an emotional poem that's written with the heart ...from the heart, this's a poem that's showing something real, something painful, aches of the heart and the pain of the life ... life really comes with too many up n downs, sometimes, we can hold it but sometimes, life tears us apart and that's what happens in this poem ... life has torn that beautiful angel apart and that's much sad, it's much emotional and filled with too many sentiments!

If you allow me then, would ya mind If I ask, this poem has just come from real life or from fantasy?
