My beowulf

My beowulf

A Poem by norajesus

The mad Queen walked the forest barefoot

The foolish king
winched the colours of black

I was your Pinokio and you were my Beowulf

We roamed the sinister sky together
valorously

With no power we survived

I was your Pinokio and you were my Beowulf

Under the cloak of  innocence I deceived you

A phony sheep I was, stabbing my shepherd in the back

My mad queen, frosting forest, be kind

My foolish king, damaged  at most, be wise

For I flamed my game with the weeping ghosts howling his name

The time has come for cover no more, for you are gone along with the dawn

My dear Beowulf, I loved no other, I shall love no more, of that I am sure, of that I am true, but your pinokio had a ransom to be paid
