I believe in the things only I can see.

I travelled through my senses
and yes, my dreams travelled
all within me

Thoughts as fires
Dreams as wars
Truths as pillars


Night cloaks and morning windows;
Swallowed walls and spilled cores

Sunsets swallowed by the seas
Strange music and offline notes

Dreams breaking into pearls
Ardent skin and woven beams

Cracks, tunnels, and fleeting wheels
Locked forevers and freedom streams

Visions as friends
Stars as walls
Daydreams,layers, and a million thoughts

Discovered poetry, and learned evermores

Dreaming as a religion
Fearlessness as a chisel

Delicate remedies and elegant dreams


The skies as eyes for what we do


The streets as home for what we dream

It's surprising how it was just a couple of days ago I had been thinking about how I felt that we travel different dimensions through the different senses we possess. And how all of them superimpose one another to let us be able to fully experience this mortal reality. It's such a beautifully multi-dimensional world; while the world we visit in dreams (the literal ones) is such a contrast to it, where we have none of the senses feeding us with information, yet, dreams feel so real sometimes. Oh, I seem to have a lot to say, I hope I don't bore you. I really love this poem, ahhh. Guess what, I'm shaking my head, literally, because I just can't quote a favorite line, I can't, I'll just end up quoting your whole poem here. I absolutely admire your skillfulness, the way you create beauty through words and breathe meanings and wisdom into them. There's rhythm, lovely smooth flow and when I let your lines form images in my head, it's a great great experience. You're the queen of metaphors, haha. Then when I got to the end, I felt déjà vu and you'll see what I mean, Manal. I also have a suggestion (about some changes) to make, if you don't mind:

Actually, that's solely dependant on your personal definition of dreams, I'm very spiritual and dreams are holy to me.. real dreams, not flimsy rosy ones.. thank you for reading and responding :)
