Too often, people embrace the past in weird ways. They kinda filter the past; thinking of either memories or lessons learned ONLY, and make judgements on the quality of their life based on that. They make the past 'empty' through their method of remembrance. They totally forget all of the supreme moments (good or bad) that could give an absolute meaning to their quest of life. The past, present and future are all connected and one cannot exist without the other. One should live in loving memory of all three in order to lead a life with passion.
P.S- This is just my personal opinion 100% :), all discussions allowed :)

That's an honour😁
We were never too lost, too broken or too young to dream
Simply ardent souls cluelessly wandering in time
Such truth and wisdom in these words. Memories can be good or bad, but like you have so eloquently expressed, they are all important. The past can define our future, leading us to better days or in the least, days of understanding.
Your wisdom is well beyond your years my friend.

Marvellous. I agree with this approach. And then everything happens for a reason, we waste our life energy by considering many precious experiences as "losses". Beautiful piece.

Thank you so much for your kindness💘💘💘
much appreciated
I completely agree with you on this... One should not live in the past. Believe me, we all try to leave behind memories that do us no good.. But heck no, they haunt us until the end of time.. Wounds will heal over time but the scars will last..
A really good write :)

Fantastic piece.... I completely share your philosophy on this subject. The perception of the past is very powerful, for some it is positive, and creates the inspiration for moving forward, and growing. For others it is quite the opposite. You really captured this. I will read this many times......
i don't know if the past is just lessons learned..good and bad experiences in my life are all part of it, part of making me into who i am today...a little older, a little wiser, and really comfortable with all of the past...we always as if we would do things differently if we could...
i don't ....i just often reflect, and ponder...and accept.

We are all prone to look at the past through "Rose-colored glasses." I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. It can be humanity's greatest coping mechanism. The world can be a very dark and terrifying place; the need to see and to remember the good can be the saving of someone's sanity. Some things are just too much to deal with all at once. Every person's journey is unique and we all have a unique perspective to share. I don't think anyone gets to say someone else's remembrances are wrong. No one can walk another person's journey; no one has the right to decide what should be in another person's brain. But, the human mind rarely ever really forgets. Those memories reemerge as a person must come to face their issues. The honesty, or lack thereof, with which people deal with their issues is where the real problems begin.

Some people escape so many gorgeous moments, and only dwell on the last things that happened, which leads them to hallways of emptiness, darkness and discern to the present... Remembrance should help one recharge and carry on his own journey after having come so long and fill them with euphoria.. I appreciate your time & words anywag :) thanks

Indeed, the past often lends itself to nostalgia and filters those moments we rather keep hidden, where to embrace may lead to learning, well done, good read.

Well,
I live in an elucidation,in a moiety, in the middle of a reversible nature, between shadows of stunned truths, where nothing and everything exists.
