A Poem by Daydreamer

We'll trust in these views

the next time we hear the muse

inspire us with its calls (n)

to dancing in celebration

of our fulfilled dreams

while having been

reflected by the facets

of our realities

Because tonight

we're feeling real free;

with made up minds

to deposit our hearts;

fearlessly sleeping

between the arms of hope

hello chick ... so I was struck with your words of wisdom ... 'while having been reflected, by the facets of our realities' oooh this speaks so many volumes ... your awareness is high, you are a lucky soul ...

I just read this and posted on my FB page ... look at the synchronicity ...

'How can we be free to look and learn when our minds from the moment we are born to the moment we die are shaped by a particular culture in the narrow pattern of "me?"
For centuries we have be conditioned by nationality, caste, tradition, religion, language, education, literature, art, custom, convention, propaganda of all kinds, economic pressure, the food we eat, the climate we live in, our family, our friends, our experience - every influence we can think of - and therefore our responses to every problem are conditioned.
Are you aware that your are conditoned?'

Krishnamurti

Your words remind us of what life is all about x x nice one ...

Your poem is quite inspirational. I know about the struggle to find my muse. It's like one minute it's there, one minute it disappears for a undetermined amount of time.

I don't even know if I can even add on anything that KWP hasn't already mentioned. This is just absolutely a wonderfully piece you have crafted. :) I admire the way you brought culture into the forefront of our minds when we read this. Not only that, but people are beginning to wake up and realize that we don't have to let society set standards for us, as we are all capable, intelligent beings.

Ofcourse we'd never let society convince us with what's a lot less than what we can be 😉

Always so lovely to have you stop by and leave your comment ♥
Thank you dear 😍
It is optimistic, cheerful, like being hit by a ray of sunshine. I don’t know why but this poem reminds me of a part from Romeo and Juliet.
Brilliant use of line breaks to keep the rhythm. In my favourites! :)
