Innocence and Skylines

Innocence and Skylines

A Poem by Nite Lifram
"

More than two years ago, a few days after Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) passed through the skies of Naro Island, Masbate, Philippines.

"

Through surging waves and hurling winds..
And drops of liquid bullets..
Through charcoal clouds and ashen seas..
Are dreams of golden sunsets..

In little palms of life anew..
Are signs of hope they grew..
In words of broken verse and rhymes..
Lie grains of innocence and skylines..
