The silence of a dreamA Poem by nocoolI have a dream locked in time I kissed her eyes like a day where springs sun kissed the world and every birth of her beating heart was mine I kissed the eyes of her mind Removed the diamonds that made a maze upon the windows of
her soul and in our moments of hush where the wind sings in the trees and the silver light of the moon danced upon her body and brought an excited rush I miss the dance with her tongue The twist and turns of fun The heat of breath Her Lips soft touch I miss the feel of her pulse by way of the red lips and soft skin I would, by way of breath, taste her soul fear the exhale less I lose her a sure death but such is the change in time and season fall had come no rhyme or reason and winters night taken down the leaf that sung the song of
secrets in the trees I reflect on beautiful times when they sang in spring breeze
Now they have gone drifting lite as a feather soulless slowly kissing the air as they fall lifeless on winters ground Their last blanket is the moons silver light Kissed as they rest without a sound © 2015 nocool |
