The Sky is CryingA Poem by nocoolThe wind dances in the trees. Mother Nature’s breath, Speaking secrets echoed by the singing leaves; I look up watching heavens eye above, Her eye’s color change slowly, blue to grey. The clouds are setting in, Water’s rhythm and dance isn’t far away. I am taken in a moment, I let my mind float away. A welcome and unmistakable perfume fills the air, Here comes the rain, Here comes a chance to take a bath, And wash away my pain; My eyes set on waters tranquility, I face and follow the slow blowing wind, bringing the clouds of grey. I see the placid water wrinkle from the distant and dancing rain. Like children’s feet in puddles as they play. The sky is crying. Heaven’s somber moan rolls though space; Heaven’s own distant hallow halls of old and painful place. I watch as the rain is now above, and coming down on me. It’s gentle touch wets my skin, The summer air keeps the water warm and I feel the weight of my cloths begin. Flashes capture the day for God’s memory. I cried with the rain, As heaven’s tears, Those falling diamonds, kissed my skin and washed away the pain. As they came down on me. Heavens eye lashes, the clouds above. Holding those diamonds before they fall upon The cheeks of us looking up above. I enjoy the moments of the falling diamonds, And reflect on the feelings of old love. I am hidden from the world, In the tears from heaven’s love. Witnessed by those around me, Never seeing my own diamonds fall, Masked in the falling rhythm of Gods love. The sky is crying, A moment of beauty. Heaven’s sadness and love falls. It is God’s way of saying, I love and cry with you all. © 2015 nocool |
