FramedA Poem by NoahTHusbandA simple poem about a man and a blue-eyed womanIn
the palace, there is a woman, famed Her
eyes are blue Her
flaws are few Such
a woman could never be tamed
A
man once cried out and complained For
this woman had flown And
left him alone And
never spoke to him again
The
young woman had taken a turn The
police cars arrived The
man ran to hide But
the woman was in his concern
He
looked for somebody to blame He
yelled at the cops With
sputters and coughs He
knows now that she had been framed
So
when the man cried out and complained For
the girl who had flown And
left him alone And
never spoke to him again
He
had already grown old and grey He
remembered the crashes He
remembered her ashes Her
blue eyed face, framed in his
hallway © 2015 NoahTHusband |
