We all have gone through this at one time in our lives

Goodbye my friend

I don't know where you stand in my life
It feels like I have been stabbed with a knife

You left me at home here 
Please tell me why you disappeared

You left thinking everything is going to be ok
But you lost touch as soon as you went away

I wonder where did I go wrong
I miss you but I have to stay strong

I cant help but feel the fault is mine
If you feel the same I understand, it is fine

It feels like you no longer care
I cant help thinking life is so unfair

I miss you, you miss me 

I just miss the way things used to be 

So for now, goodbye my friend

I miss you and I'm here until the end

Sometimes people lose touch because one has some issues that no longer allow them to be part of your life. They are lost and do not know how to talk about it and so they just walk away, leaving us wondering what we did wrong, and it was not us. NIce work and the sun will come up tomorrow and new people will be in our lives again.

I really like this. I think that you either should try and make the meter tighter becasue you have such a consistent rhyme scheme, or you should loosen up the rhyme scheme. I think either way It would make the poem flow better. I also think you could play around a bit more with figurative devices such as metaphor. You could also expand the imagery a bit, try "showing" and not "telling". Other than that, solid poem, very relatable.
