To be a black hole

To be a black hole

A Poem by white shadows

My boundaries are infinite
As far as the eye can see
With all my mass and glory
I still can't be me

The destruction I can cause
Will be known as genocide
Wipeing out entire galaxies
With nothing left to hide

Yet I am looked apon by many
And explored by some
Dreamed about by others
Of the day that this will come

What composes me is emptiness
Caused by the death of a star
It's amazing the fear I can strike in those
Observing from afar

But when everything is gone
With no trace to be found
I'll still be alone here
Not making a sound
