Poem 1

A Poem by white shadows
"

Procrastination.

"
What is knowledge?
Is it knowing what is beyond the nothingness witch engulfs us all,
Or is it believing in a true end.
A place where one can be at peace.
Where one can stand in the stillness reveling in their life's accomplishments.

With knowledge comes power and with true power comes responsibility.
Who is to say whether or not one is capable of wielding such power.
Such responsibility is a constant burden on it's beholder.
So why want it.

In today's excuse of a society
power is everything and without it you are nothing.
Power gives you a voice,
it gives you certainty,
it gives you a chance,
and without it you become a needle in the hay stack of life.

In the end will the distribution of power matter.
Power may pro-long the process, but death is inevitable.
However, peoples actions throughout their lives can scar.
Leaving a permanent reminder of what has and will happen to the world.

So think about what it is you truly want in life.
Is it actually knowledge, or is it the raw power that comes with it.
If so remember that knowledge is knowing what is beyond the nothingness witch engulfs us all.
Power can only pro-long life, it cannot ensure what comes after it,
Or how you will be judged upon arrival.

That's really good, I love writings that make me think, and this did just that. Food for thought.
