The Destination

The Destination

A Poem by njholliger

In his most cynical of times he went on a drive,

But to his destination, everyone assumes he did not arrive,

His thoughts tormented his brain,

And he surely thought he was going insane,

Though the car was known to pound into an object of metal,

Nobody knew he closed his eyes and pressed on the pedal,

After pondering many days,

At his destination he lays.

Strong yet concise.
Cant say anything more because this piece is as perfect as one can be. Great stuff, hoping to read more!
