Romantic FantasiesA Poem by Nick FerroAn exploration of attraction and partnershipHer mind is so beautiful and so is she Free tresses and her dresses go below
her knees Raised American, and took a trip
oversees Yet she’s the type of girl that don’t
notice me Or so it seems, I mean we should go to
see Her eyes are brown and if that weren’t
enough I just can’t get enough of her blush
posing By the sunrise, this kind of lust is
surreal
I see him at the beach when he’s
walking When he’s talking, what you talking
about? Heavy matter when he talks about I see him though, hazel eye, foolish
talk Hinted his desire so I’ll take him for
a walk I say hi, stay fly like a parrot Tang tops, black sandals, and bikinis What a bummer you can’t see me in the
summer!
It’s a shame indeed when it’s you I
need But what am I to do? And who am I to you? You should know that I share your pain You should know that I feel your pain But that’s what makes a union more
special Although feelings change, and my
feelings too You see it’s all about timing and I’ll be there when the time is right
again
