The Crated PuppyA Poem by NAyersmanAn old poem from a few years back that I wrote about a friendThe puppy sits quietly, peering from his crate Gazing upon your figure, watching your eyes. But he can’t see if you’re watching his. He likes his crate, but he likes you more. He wants to come out of his crate. He wants to be with you. Outside his crate, the puppy is different. Outside the crate, the puppy is soft and warm. Outside the crate, the puppy trusts you. But the puppy wants you to trust him Because you only trust the crate. © 2013 NAyersmanReviews
