A poem for true lovers.

A poem for true lovers.

"

This I wrote, inside the mind of another. To be blunt. Me but not me. Totally confusing. But I love it.

"

I met you one night and let you look into my eyes

With a porcelain perfect face that disguised simple lies

I let myself fall into your smile of pearl promises

With a crazy feeling of love that swamped my heart

Forged under the softest kiss with a strawberry lip gloss mask

The candy crime when I said I wanted to die

You kissed me lovingly and stole my breath.

CPR never tasted so good, I said I wanted to die again

You kissed me lustfully and left me craving more

I pushed you to the wall, with most delicate hands

With a papercut for the pain and a fairytale nightmare

I looked into your eyes and you said you wanted to soar,

So I took you in my arms and we flew,

Weightless as an angels whisper,

A soft caress of a feather in the breeze

And when the rain; should it start to fall

I’ll fly you to the waterfall, where my heart melted into yours

The passion of two lovers in one soul

A heart swamped by suicidal shoulder kisses

And dangerous song like whispers

A love consumed by spending every waking conscious and resting dream filled moment together.

With you I believe forever; forever to reign in this temple we built with our dancing fingertips,

And soft hands caressing skin, painting masterpieces like castles in the sand,

And when the ocean blue water comes and washes our masterpiece down,

I’ll take you into my arms and carry you away,

To a place we can lay making love in the afternoon,

basking in the warm sunlight that crashes upon our naked forms

hitting the porcelain perfection of your body like a tidal wave,

while I lay there counting my blessing, seeing such a beauty through tormented eyes

so this I pledge and with an open heart;

 if you should die tomorrow,

il swallow ice cubes filled with needles,

fore I said I wanted to die one day,

and you took my breath away.

Without you I cant dream a nightmare or kiss candy lips of sin,

So take me with you tear me apart, shoot me down I surrender,

Lets kiss the sky, slit our wrists and live happily ever after,

A criminal fairytale masked with poisonous perfection,

Two hearts in one, lets sing this lullaby together, forever, I love you
