Romeo in drag or.. something.

Romeo in drag or.. something.

Sitting quietly in a crooked building,

With thoughts of crazy days that tear us apart,

A piece of shattered glass for those who doubt us

With crimson violent nightfall breaking slow,

The taste of fallen snow that never lingered,

With soft roc-a-byes turned into whispers,

The pain I held so close turns into vapour

And murmured words choking intoxication,

Nightfall lies quietly like sleeping children,

And the moonlight dances on our silken flesh,

Electric shock of hectic kisses rushed,

And the shivers brought by clever fingers.

Consumed in the concept of hidden lust,

And the secret depths our love lingers,

The innocent smile of seduction,

And the sinking feeling of euphoria,

Swamping our paper hearts with comfort,

As our shelter washes away in a storm.

And my lips, they quiver.

We’ll shout this serenade forever in silence,

And slit our wrists to burning skies of decadence,

We’ll make history baby, you and I,

With stolen tears and pains all drained away,

We’ll make a run for our own forever,

And always have each other left,

So, here, drink some cyanide like a sweet elixir,

While I take these scissors and jam them in my throat,

Baby this is modern day, Juliet and her Romeo.
