Blood Clots

Blood Clots

A Poem by Bleeding Ink Anthology
"

These just happen. Certain moods. Certain poems.

"

When the darkness pours the salt into the open wound

You remember then pain, who you are, you're being consumed

Empty pit in an unconscious mind,

Forgive me for I have forsaken, lost love made me blind

I’ve forgotten who I am, all these years I have sought out to find

The person in kind, the person deep within this soulless demise

I no longer feel for I no longer care

Remember the days, she was always there

I cannot bare the emptiness, the lost love I hate

I remember when she left, frozen heart, no feelings of late

Cant sleep, cant breath, cant die, just contemplate

In our hearts and in our minds, we're searching its all fate

Fate be an essence of a dream I will create

Creation is my own and nightmares are the form

They seep into my awakening soul and peel away thoughts i've torn

My vivid imagination rots and the slices before the blade drops

Leave me now leave me alone, leave me please with blood clots.
