just that.

just that.

A Poem by twig
"

things that ran through my mind at a show i went to.

"

i came here for the sound

but now the vibrations

will be a ringing in my ears

for days

this subtle touch

and the fact that you’re not satisfied

somehow leaves me

just that.

and leaning away

i lean away

you try to lean into me

but this room is not near full

so i don’t have to be near you.

and it’s not necessarily a game

but i’m sure it could be

just that.

watching from the window

lights change

red

yellow

green

but it means not a thing

to me

as i look opposite the direction of you.

and it’s not necessarily a distraction

but i’m sure it could be

just that.
