a glance at a broken compass

a glance at a broken compass

A Poem by twig

your sea has split
cracks run long
sip at your flask of salt
a map of glass
the globe balancing on a pin
avion whispers speaking about the wind
things you know by chance
the moldy planks you walk
waves fight under your feet
they’ve forgotten the reason
it’s time to step off
caught in the middle of a quarrel; another casualty
