As we grow up,

The innocent joy is what slowly fades.

Though, sometimes some things,

Reminds me of joy and pleasure.

Listening to Grandma's stories,

Sleeping in mother's lap,

Laughing on father's jokes,

That reminds me of joy.

Writing down my thoughts,

Reading my favorite books,

Listening to enchanting songs,

That reminds me of joy.

Talking to a school friend,

Reliving all those memories,

Being deeply loved by your boy,

That reminds me of joy.
