Reverberation

Reverberation

A Poem by nishantshah2381

Abridging myriad distances,

she reached the distant shores,

where only waves echoed,

and in unison she babbled

lullaby of her callow soul.

Then gazing the horizons,

and the fathomless sea,

she was becharmed

by her own reflection

and snared in her quest

rouged the deserted island

in hues of crimson colors,

penchantly waiting,

for darkness to cease.

Well spoken by your words of truth in a poetic form. I'm starting to run out of things to say I will say is go back to my recent review and 'bravo!'

A truthful element to the words, it speaks of time in itself as the mind clears to solve the message, well done, good read.

I like this poem, it is one of your best, I think. The phraseology, if that's the right word, is very succinct and crisp; I especially liked the phrase 'fathomless sea', which is a double entendre in a way.

"Penchantly" isn't a word though, and even if it were, I wouldn't think you'd want to use it where you did lol. Besides that, very good.

Such powerful and beautiful words made this poem a pleasure to read. Each line adding to the feel and the emotion desired by your words. Thank you for the amazing poetry.

I had a feeling of her being caught up in her own tangled web...causing her own demise.. Nicely done..xx
