Free Bird

Free Bird

A Poem by nishantshah2381

As this night starts crawling by,

I hear the grim silence dawning every hour,

even the apparitions of time,

are waiting at the horizons,

to veil the tomb of mortality.

And here,

in this morbid time

I am stranded alone, on this gossamer warp,

embracing the obscurity.

I wait for midgets,

with glistened hopes

in my partizan eyes, and under their aegis

will strive to

follow the tepid path,

of seeking deliverance,

and repose my

emboldened ashes

in tranquility.

You have had some interesting poems lately nicely done and the words as the twist around one another its just so interesting. Well done and to be a free bird in all of this. I smile upon this with a grim for some reason. Anyways excelente.

Wow! This feels like a cremation of sorts... ashes to be set free like a bird with wings...

"in my partizan eyes, and under their aegis
will strive to
follow the tepid path,
of seeking deliverance,
and reprose my
emboldened ashes
in tranquility."~ Excellent write!

"And here,

Strong words create visions of loneliness. Being free isn't so good sometimes. Thank you for the excellent poem.
