Tryst

Tryst

A Poem by nishantshah2381

For years,

following the shadows

on bleak terrain,

I was stranded alone

with my delusions

and some piranhas in my mind.

I heard thee,babbling some words

belying my might.

Even the plebeians,

were righteously denied

the breathes of liberated life.

But,

now in my autumns,

marooned at the acme of

my tyrannical journey,

I remember,

looking at my ceasing veins,

the soughs of the afflicts,

and even thy words of bane.

Thee always endowed wisdom,

but my eyes were cloaked

by whims of domineering the realm.

And now,

when I retrospect again,

I find the sapient light

silently shrouding my might.

So much strong logic in this poem.
"Thee always endowed wisdom,
but my eyes were cloaked
by whims of domineering the realm."
We learn by error and many mistakes. Thank you for the outstanding poem.

Very Enlightening! Your words are powerfully written in clever context.-"Thee always endowed wisdom, but my eyes were cloaked by whims of domineering the realm." I enjoyed the read! :)
