Lost/Zealots

Lost/Zealots

A Poem by nishantshah2381
"

Penned on July 16 2008

"
I stared at the lonely light,
For hours enshrouding the dark night.
where the starlets promenade to the desolate lands,
and their incessant blades clattered for the new crusade.

In unison they marched towards the distant oceans,
chanting the dark hymns to spell doom on wretched land.
Here I see the stellar summoning their mana with authority,
under the aegis of their FATHERS with whom they have accompanied.

Along with the belligerent skies,
I hear the incisive lightning.
And then,
with the brisk of last hazel on the armor
I sleuth the night descend.
Even now the forces of nature converge,
Beyond the silent acmes to seize the squalid land.

As the knights passed the garrison towers,
there stranded the dame parched in the black robe.
Her partisan eyes were finding the scepter of her son,
who kissed his fate years ago for his realm to sovereign.
