PlebianA Poem by nishantshah2381Penned on July 16 2008
I saw a man walking down the streets
scalding all the other democratic, he had question for every living on earth, and marched towards the house where turkeys lurk. Everyone jested at his eccentric taste, Even the prefects abased his righteousness. but words failed to wither this mortal grain, as he crossed the hedge with the void in his brain. There he reached the mighty Colosseum , Standing tall was the statue of political saint, in one piece cloth and with a big soiled cane. where the hypocrites blinded their own eyes, and their heads uttered the unfathomable lies. He tried to enter the antechamber, repleted with house full of unholy turbans. then grabbed hold of one of this diabolic saint, and asked him the questions he had framed. And then he tried to reach another hermit, who once mouthed,”wealth is the oblation of republic”. as the eccentric fellow asked questions on blasphemous realm, there came the reply, “i don’t mind to crib on the issues for more cream.” With his futile eyes and some impish smile, The flake lad walked the steps again, But towards his base where he reigned. His When,Where,Why and What are still unrequited, And his mind behaves like a chiseled plebeian. © 2011 nishantshah2381Reviews
