Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by nishantshah2381

Waiting………………………

The night ,
The holy New moon night
Creeping in from the fields of delight
Waiting,
for the vampires to yell.
for the hazel light to end

The moans ,the groans I hear each night
Today everything would fall prey to his might
The gore in my veins would soon freeze
And my vessels would soon decease

My breathes are of flickering seconds
Soon the Lord of Death would descend
Chimes of knell would soon be heard
And I would be ready for a long ride

The augur of death besieged my sight
Off the shores of this deplorable existence
Anchoring in the world of corpses sovereign
I have no remorse for the new experience

With the Curicullum Vitae
I am ready for the Judgement day
For sure ,
Hell is the place my soul would repose
And my body is cremated in some grave

Thus today I cry in vain, in pain
Waiting for the Lord of Death to descend
