A Wandering Soul (Song Vers.)A Poem by Nisha M.A song version of my poem, A Wandering Soul.Verse 1: I asked myself many times Because each time I try, I'm left with no answers, Am I merely surviving before I die?
I tried reaching out once again But why is it that each time I do so, I arrive at a dead end With not one other to take this hand.
Pre-Chorus: I keep wondering, I keep wandering Alone, in this ruthless cold, With no one to call.
Chorus: Till the end of time, I'm just a wandering soul, Alone, in this brutal cold. Till the end of my life, I remain a broken soul, Alone, with no one to hold.
Verse 2: I could scream at the top of my voice But I’m still going to be on my own I could run as fast as I could Am I a misguided soul who has fallen In a place so cruel? An insignificant soul who has been forgotten In this merciless, unforgiving world?
Chorus: Till the end of time, I'm just a wandering soul, Alone, on my own, in this brutal cold. Till the end of my life, I remain a broken soul, Alone, damaged and torn, with no one to hold.
Bridge: Please just hold me once Please comfort me in your embrace Please keep me together I beg you, just this once please make broken self feel safe.
Third Verse: But why is it that each time I dream, I wake up to the same miserable fact As every dawn reminds me I’m still by myself And nothing is ever going to change that Pre-Chorus: I keep wondering, I keep wandering alone Final Chorus: Till the end of time, I'm just a wandering soul, Alone, in this brutal cold. With no one to call Till the end of my life, I remain a broken soul, Alone, with no one to hold.
I will be on my own (till the end of time) Damaged, ruined and torn A spirit forlorn in this most painful cold. A wandering soul (till the end of my life)
