That Kind of WeatherA Poem by Nisha M.Describing feelings through different weathers. They asked her How are you feeling, dear? It’s hard to say, she replied
It’s like that kind of weather, she smiled.
The rain was not gentle It was not calm The rain was harsh and severe Yet it wasn’t one which brought her harm
Flurries of snow followed suit She was standing alone She felt it in her bones,
The cold was biting It threw her to her knees She looked up to the sky The raindrops hit her cheeks with strength The snow brushed her cold feet once again
The torrential storm greeted her The snow turned against her, It started becoming mean The blustery wind pierced her soft skin Everything was loud, the sky was screaming She had no control of what she was feeling
Everything was fading
The warmth awoke her She was still alone But she was no longer hurting The cheerful breeze played with her hair She looked up to the sky Colours and beautiful rays of light It was time for a new start
How are you feeling, dear? Oh, just like that kind of weather. © 2018 Nisha M.Author's Note
