A Walking ContradictionA Poem by Nisha M.I've always wanted to write about oxymorons and contradictory concepts because they portray how ordinary human beings feel most of the time - Conflicted.A walking contradiction, That’s what I am Too little, underachieving, Too much, overwhelmed
I want to be alone, I believe I'd make it on my own, But I am also insecure and needy
I want to run towards my burning passion, Too dreamy to be realistic,
Too liberal for conservatism, Too traditional for liberalism Too normal to me,
Too brave to a few, Too pretentious to relate to,
I’m tired of this inconsistency Perhaps, I deserve to be happy too But a walking contradiction, that’s what I am So the only one who deserves to be happy is you. © 2018 Nisha M.Author's Note
