Take Your Time

This is an anti-suicidal lyric poetry which I wrote a long time ago. Hang on, take your time.

Surrounded by clouds of agony
You contemplate and wonder how it would have all been
If you became nothing more than a memory
You’ve had it planned, a beautiful landscape of pleasure
No longer having to endure any affliction
Such will no longer be fiction

But there is no rush, love
Take your time to breathe, your scars will heal
Your wounds would be yesterday’s 
Be in the dark for as long as you like, 
Take your time to cry 
I know you’ll be alright
Every fire you burn in will lead your way

 

Too much, you say, the pain is overwhelming
Oh, how much have you been concealing?
Dispose of your mask, let your sorrow show
Then let it flow, take your time to let it all go

 

You say I don’t know, I don’t understand
That this is all permanent
You’re right, I don’t understand
But have you wondered, have you ever thought
That you might not wish to fall
You just need a tiny glimpse of hope 
To hang on to
And that is all

 

Take your time, take your time,
 Take your time, take your time
Come, slowly, take my hand
I’m here, take your time

There is no rush, just take your time 
Take your time to breathe, 
Your scars will heal
Your wounds would be yesterday’s 
Be in the dark for as long as you like,

You don’t know what you could do
Leave it behind and start anew.

Act in haste, sadly they don't get to repent at leisure. Reaching a point where they want oblivion's peace. Such pain they can no longer cope with the demands of life. So sad dear Nisha. Take your time, all things pass on. That is a good message to convey. A new day can often mean a fresh start. Seeing things with a different perspective.
