why is it not easy to forget and forgive

why can't we forgive and forget"      

Many a times we have come across people saying let's forgive and forget   
 But is it easy enough to forgive and forget ? when we have given our everything, put our soul into everything, can we really forgive and forget? 

 I remember the movie where Mr.  Amitabh  Bachchan  stands tall buys an entire building for his mother where his mother use to work as a helper. He remembers  how hard she worked there to earn some money and feed her children's.

   He could not forget and went on to achieve the goal he had set. Was it   Trishul or Deewar ? 

Well I don't reemember. What am I saying why we need to forget and why should we forgive, or why can't we forgive and forget too, I had a friend, means she still remains my friend thou we aren't in touch, she often use to say one thing to me " I can forget but I can't forgive " now correct me friends, well when you can forget it then why can't you forgive, I mean you will be able to forgive when you are able to forget it. Had     Mr Amitabh Bachchan  able to forget he would not have made such an emotional investment.   I think if we are able to forget, then we are able to forgive too, but alas we and our brain and heart won't want to forget, or as our previous article says time is the best healer to enable you to forget. Who are we on this earth to forgive,  why do we forget that we are humans and mistakes happens from our side too at some point we stand helpless and ask others to forgive, don't we make mistakes , then why can't u forgive others for their big or small blunders. Yes at times we do say I am not good to forgive and forget but lord always takes u in his arms no matter whatever wrongs you did. As he knows that you won't repeat the mistake and you deserve a chance in life.  One of my friends co worker made a bad investment which resulted in huge loss for the firm. That co worker put forward his resignation to the director but surprisingly the director didn't accept the resignation. He said I know you won't repeat this mistake and you have learned from this mistake and then why should I let you go and work else where and make profit for other firms at my loss.  He forgot his loss and forgived him which only  resulted in betterment of the firm.  

See there is a strong connection to forget and forgive which only helps to move forward for betterment right na!! So forget and forgive it only helps you to move on...
