I'm Sorry

I'm Sorry

A Poem by nirvanakcid

If you could see through my eyes

You would see yourself drinking tea sitting on your bed

And I laying, hoping for something I can’t bring myself to say

A flush on my skin, your softness pressing on me

If you could see through my eyes you would see gray

A thousand dreams shattered in the morning light

A new day brings hope for you

And we grow farther apart

If you could see through my eyes

You would see a rose blooming in the darkness

Your twilight eyes mocking me

If you could see through my eyes you would see nothing

There is nothing left to see

Without you I dream in black and white

And my days fade into one

If you could see through my eyes the world would light up

The cover pulled from a nightmare

And I would have no reason to lay dreaming

If you could see through my eyes

I would not hurt anymore
