Year of the Ox

あけましておめでとう!

This time comes now

And looms overhead

Yet I have little fear

Nor sense of dread

My aim, to move forward

And never back

My goal is clear

I am on track

Pure of thought

And clear as dream

The darkness beyond

Not as dark as it seems

With brave face

I venture out

And proud voice

With which I shout

I shall not waver

Nor shall I regret

This journey begins

With this small step

Into storm or sun

I know not yet

But the way is clear

And plan is set

This is the year

Of wander and doubt

But I’ll venture on

And I head out

Wow.. I am right at that stage right now.. I feel like I truly could have written this self entirely.. you are a great writer and person (I remember you from High School); I will be sure to recommend your work to others and if I hear of anyone looking for a tatoo artist I will be sure to direct them to you.. as I know you are going to BC but who knows you may come back cause it sounds like you travel alot (I don' t want to jump conclusions) and what an interesting life you must have! Most people could not even dream of doing the things you are and you should be proud of yourself after all you will accomplish doing more than most and the other things that people work for.. well.. they can't take it with them now can they at the end!
